3-Ingredient Strawberry Tart

The easiest homemade strawberry tart recipe ever.

The easiest homemade strawberry tart recipe ever.

Serves: 4

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz (453g) Strawberries, hulled and sliced into rounds

  • 3 tablespoons (36g) sugar

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed if frozen (Dufour brand recommended)

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).

  2. Roll out the puff pastry to even it out and form a rough rectangle. If you want to trim it to square it up a bit more, you can, but it’s not absolutely necessary.

  3. To a parchment-lined sheet tray, add your sheet of puff pastry. Leaving an inch border around the edges on each side of the rectangle, begin shingling the sliced strawberries in rows to cover the puff pastry. Evenly sprinkle the strawberries with your sugar.

  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and cooked through. Let cool slightly before slicing to serve.2-3 minutes until golden brown and the cheese inside is melted. Cut into wedges and enjoy.

Yea, that part is copy and pasted from the quesadilla recipe. The end of this recipe stops at "Let it cool slightly before slicing to serve." Like I said before, it's a typo :)
